THANK YOU

Without Eleanor where would we all be? Thanks Eleanor for guiding us through this great project. Our project wouldn't have been as successful without you.

Thank you to the Class of 1955 for participating in and inspiring Sociology 224's collective interview. This course has introduced us to various research methods and decisions, as well as educated us about our fellow Mount Holyoke women. We hope your experience has been as rewarding as our own.

Dear Soc 224,

Our project committee wants to thank you so very much for the wonderful day we spent with you last Friday. We were very impressed with all of your work and preparation and I'm sure that you will see on our evaluation reports that you did a super job.

We hope that you will all continue to work with us this next year as we progress to step two. We can't wait to turn the tables and see what all of you are doing and thinking…what your expectations are and your thoughts about our college. Although this project is in part an oral history of the mid-fifties, we would like to stress that we are just as interested in today and in the future as we are in the past.

We also want to wish you the very best of luck on your exams. If you get stuck on a question, just sit still for a moment and perhaps one of us will whisper the answer, because we'll be right there with you in spirit.

With our special thanks and good wishes for a terrific vacation.

Thank you from the alumnae

Many thanks also to Pat Kuc for your tireless and consistent support. Your attention to detail and willingness to do anything has helped hold this project together. From picture taking to name tags to the countless other jobs you have done, we could not have done this without you!

Lastly, many thanks to Patty Albright and Molly Hazelton, our partners in the Mount Holyoke Archives. Thank you for taking the time out of your days to introduce us to the hidden treasures in the Archives. You captured our attention, helped us follow our creative research interests, and supported our efforts at every turn!
