Graduated

Many young women who were at one time members of the class of 1955 did not graduate with their classmates. This occurred for a number of reasons including homesickness, marriage, transfers and academic probations. See Pam Moody Harkins account of why she left in 1953 in our video reflection project. The end result was that one quarter of would-be graduates did not gain MHC diplomas in 1955.
