I am currently studying up on the Regency Period and its inherant patriarchy. I've always been an admirer of Jane Austen for her sentimental romance novels, in particular Pride and Prejudice. Many a discussion has been had about whther or not the novel has feminist undertones or simply posesses a strong willed protagonist. I would love to hear your opininions on the charming Elizabeth Bennet, who i feel is indeed a heroin.
