In addition to reporting on Mount Holyoke College events, students in Web Audio Journalism also cover stories about the surrounding community. Here you will find news features about the town in which Mount Holyoke is located- South Hadley, Massachusetts- as well as stories about our region of western Massachusetts known as the Pioneer Valley. From broadcasts about the area's bumper crop of asparagus to news about Smith College's first graduating class of women engineers, Mount Holyoke and Community offers web audio reporting on the neighborhood outside the College gates.
