One of the goals of this class is to help you develop the ability to critically read and view media about science. For this assignment, we turn to a popular depiction of impact scenarios: the movie "Armegeddon". After viewing the movie in class (and, if necessary, watching it again on reserve in the library), write a 1-2 page, double-spaced essay critiquing the scientific content of this movie. You may wish to comment not only on the scientific inaccuracies, but also on the impact of such inaccuracies on the general public.
