Office Hours M 2:30-5 and by arrangement
Homework: turn in interesting problems of your own choosing in class on Fridays. Indicate any you are unsure of and would like me to look at and comment on. For Friday, Feb. 8: anything from Chapter 1. (Grading: I will keep track of how many types of problems you turn in -- i.e., many problems, but all similiar, will just count "1")
Projects: do at least one project, go over it with me, and present it to the class. There are quite a few projects introduced in the book -- first come first served on those. I will also show you other sources of projects during the semester, and you may find them yourselves in other classes, etc. You need not stop at just presenting one! Exams: 2 small midterms, just checking the basics, and a final:
