The European Studies program is an interdisciplinary
Major which gives students the opportunity to develop a critical,
focused understanding of European topics through interdisciplinary
studies. Students are invited to integrate
work in the arts (literature, art, music, theatre) with studies
in history, philosophy, religion and the social sciences such
as anthropology, sociology, psychology, politics, economics,
and geography. The major requires also
mastery of at least one European language and encourages study
abroad.
