*I assume that you own a Latin dictionary. Equally useful is a Latin grammar, such as J. H. Allen and J. B. Greenough, New Latin Grammar (Caratzas, 1995).

  • In-class performance (translation, discussion) 25%
  • Exam 1 (week of October 6) 20%
  • Exam 2 (roughly beginning of November) 20%
  • Exam 3 (after Thanksgiving break) 20%
  • Paper: (end of exam period) 15%
