Globalization: Blessing or Not?

The existence of Globalization is not new; it dates back to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Aztecs, and the Incas. However after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the importance and existence of globalization is being questioned. Samuelson, the author of Globalization Goes to War, wonders if the world should see globalization as a gift or whether it should grieve at its existence. This is because in addition to economic and financial benefits, globalization is responsible for causing war and terror in the present world. Trading between countries is a sign of progress and prosperity. However if this trade involves weapon and drug trafficking, it violates the entire concept of globalization. It is through Globalization that countries gain from each other, by narrowing their cultural, socio-economic, and political gaps. Conversely if globalization
