Economic Statistics

Grading for Economics 220 will be based on a weekly fifteen minute quiz (50% of the final grade), a final examination (40% of the final grade), and a multiple regression project (10% of the final grade). Please note that make-up quizzes will not be allowed.
The ranges used to determine final grades are as follows: A=96-100%, A- = 91-95%, B+ = 86-90%, B=81-85%, C+ = 76-80%, C=71-75%, C- = 66-70%, D+ = 61-65%, D=56-60%, D- =51-55%, and F=0-50%. Each quiz will be graded individually based on this scale, with the average grade for the top ten quiz scores used in determining the grade assigned to quizzes. Because only the top ten quizzes are graded, if you miss any quiz, for any reason, you will not have the option to "make up" that quiz. The final exam will also be graded on the same scale as the quizzes (see above). The multiple regression assignment will receive a letter grade.
