• 1. Have you ever done socket programming? If so, in which programming language?
• 2. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is novice and 10 is expert, rate your knowledge of C/C++.
• 3. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is novice and 10 is expert, rate your knowledge of Java.
• 4. Describe any experience you have had with web development. For example, have you written HTML before?.
• 5. Would you be interested in a Java workshop/tutorial session where we would go over some basic examples and discuss how to compile and run Java programs? This session would likely be held in the lab on a Wednesday or Friday, early afternoon.
• 6. What kind of environment do you typically program in? (Windows vs Unix, do you use an IDE, etc)
