Bologna Consortial Studies Program

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI.

Deadline:December 7, 2007, for Academic Year 2008-2009, March 31, 2008, for Spring 2009. Full-year applicants should also submit an official Mount Holyoke transcript by February 1.  If you are approved by Mount Holyoke for the program, we will forward your application to the University of Indiana by their deadlines of, respectively, February 15 and September 15.

DIS/Denmark's International Study

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI. Students applying for summer should adapt the Request to Study Abroad to fit summer study plans.

Deadline:March 1 (for summer, fall, or full year), October 1 (for spring).

Mount Holyoke’s approval for DIS constitutes your acceptance to the program; there is no separate DIS application form (though admitted students will need to pay a deposit and complete additional registration and housing forms).

IES

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI.

Deadline:March 1 (for fall or full year), November 1 (for spring).

You must also submit the IES program application to IES, including application fee and official transcript, as we do not participate in the Direct Admission program. See the IES website for deadlines.

Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome (through Duke University)

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI.

Deadline:March 1 (for fall or full year), November 1 (for spring).

You must also submit the ICCS program application directly to Duke University; see the Classics Department for further information and application forms.

School for Field Studies

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI. (Students applying for summer only do not need to complete the Request to Study Abroad.)

Deadline:March 1 (for fall or full year), November 1 (for spring).

You must also submit the SFS application for admission directly to SFS according to their stated deadline.

Sweet Briar College Junior Year in France

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI.

Deadline:December 7, 2007, for Academic Year 2008-2009, or Fall 2008; March 31, 2008, for Spring 2009.  (It is sometimes possible for us to consider late applications for spring; check with MCGI.)

Upon approval by Mount Holyoke, students will complete the Sweet Briar application and submit it to MCGI by February 15 (for fall or full year) or May 15 (for spring).

Universities of Bristol, Kent, St. Andrews, Sussex, York, the London School of Economics, and University College London

Submit Mount Holyoke's Request to Study Abroad form to MCGI.

Deadline:March 1 (for full year, or, where applicable, fall semester), November 1 for spring (where applicable).

You must also submit the university’s own application directly to the university according to its stated deadline. Note that some of these universities have early deadlines and/or may fill prior to the stated deadline, so we recommend that you apply early (by early February, for example, for fall admission). Students who meet the requirements stated by the host university and who apply in a timely way can generally expect to be accepted.

Oxford (St. Anne's College)

Submit the Request to Study Abroad Form and the Oxford University Visiting Student application to MCGI.

Deadline:December 7, 2007, for Academic Year 2008-2009, or spring 2009.

Admission to Oxford is particularly competitive. Mount Holyoke has an agreement with St. Anne’s College at Oxford to facilitate applications from our students. Oxford has a centralized application process through the Undergraduate Admission Office, and students may apply directly; however, students who wish to be considered for study at St. Anne’s through our agreement should apply through Mount Holyoke. We will review applications and forward them with our recommendation, if you meet the general requirements for Oxford (minimum grade point average of 3.7, at least four or five courses completed in the major by the end of sophomore year, strong recommendations, and a detailed plan of study). Students recommended by Mount Holyoke are not guaranteed admission, but generally will receive priority over equally-qualified applicants from non-affiliated schools.

It is sometimes possible for us to consider late applications for spring (check with MCGI), but we urge you to apply by the deadline to ensure that you may be considered.
