Fees for MHC Programs and Exchanges

Billing for MHC Programs and Affiliates
Billing for MHC Exchanges

Mount Holyoke will bill students who participate in MHC programs and exchanges, and in some affiliated programs. In all other cases, students will be billed directly by their program or university.

In most cases, students will have some additional expenses (for travel, meals, personal expenses, books, etc.). If you are awarded a Laurel Fellowship, your award will take these additional costs into account.

We will provide students with details about deposits (if applicable), program fee amounts, other expenses, and payment schedules upon their acceptance to the program.

Fees and Billing for MHC Exchanges

Billing procedures described here for the UK apply only to students who have been selected as our official exchange students. Exchange slots in the UK are reserved for students with financial need. Students receiving little or no financial aid are welcome to apply directly to any of the exchange universities as visiting students.  Visiting students will be billed directly by their host university for the (lower) overseas student tuition, rather than MHC tuition.

All other exchanges are open to students regardless of their financial aid status; spaces may be limited, in which case we will give priority to students receiving need-based financial aid.

For our exchanges with the Universities of Bonn, Leipzig, and Costa Rica, no MHC billing is involved because tuition is waived by the host institution. Students will pay directly for room and board. Students may be billed a nominal fee by the host university for participation in special language or orientation courses.
