Fees for MHC Programs and Exchanges
Billing for MHC Programs and Affiliates Billing for MHC Exchanges
Mount Holyoke will bill students who participate in MHC programs and exchanges, and in some affiliated programs, for tuition and fees as described below. In all other cases, students will be billed directly by their program or university.
Mount Holyoke will bill all students for the College's study abroad administrative fee of $750 per semester and for the student health insurance plan. Students may waive the health insurance only according to the usual policies.
In most cases, students will have some additional expenses (for travel, meals, personal expenses, books, etc.). If you are awarded a Laurel Fellowship, your award will take these additional costs (as well as our administrative fee) into account.
We will provide students with details about deposits (if applicable), program fee amounts, other expenses, and payment schedules upon their acceptance to the program.

Fees and Billing for MHC Exchanges
Billing procedures described here for the UK apply only to students who have been selected as our official exchange students. Exchange slots in the UK are reserved for students with financial need. Students receiving little or no financial aid are welcome to apply directly to any of the exchange universities as visiting or study abroad students. Visiting students will be billed directly by their host university for the (lower) overseas student tuition, rather than MHC tuition.
All other exchanges are open to students regardless of their financial aid status; spaces may be limited, in which case we will give priority to students receiving need-based financial aid.
For our exchanges with the Universities of Bonn, Leipzig, Berlin School of Economics and Law, Cordoba, Costa Rica, and Chile, no MHC billing is involved because tuition is waived by the host institution. Students will pay directly for room and board. Students may be billed a nominal fee by the host university for participation in special language or orientation courses.
