Senegal: Dichotomies of Wealth

I took this photograph from a bus in Senegal while I was there with the Mount Holyoke January term trip. The image represents the omnipresent dichotomies of wealth in Senegal, especially in Dakar. The little girl on the right side is poor and perhaps a servant for a wealthier family. Her dress does not fit properly. She is looking into a store that sells televisions and other electronic equipment, which she will probably never be able to own. The picture demonstrates the disparity of wealth and the immuring class system in Senegal.
