The commands are broken up into four sections. If you are designing pages for the main Web server, it is important to understand how to use the .MADE and .MAINTAINS commands, at the very least use the command creation wizard to generate these instructions for you.

Document Attributes

If your document is on the main Web server and you do not use both the .MADE and .MAINTAINS commands, your page will display the message "This page has been improperly attributed."

HTML Previewer

The previewer allows you to see an HTML (or .SHTML) file, as though it was saved on the server. It helps you make minor changes to the source code of a file, repeatedly, and then quickly see what the page would look like when saved.

Command Creation Wizard

The Command Creation Wizard is a quick way to see how some of the more basic commands work. It's an .shtml file which asks you a few questions and tells you exactly what DI commands are needed to produce the results you want.
