January 2012: Intersession @ MHC

January 2012 at Mount Holyoke College features "Intersession", between January 2 - 20, 2012. Intersession is an opportunity to enjoy MHC hospitality, the beauty of a New England winter, and a restorative change of pace between the Fall and Spring semesters. In service to the community, the Office of Student Programs coordinates a special Intersession curriculum of non-credit courses and workshops, all of which are open to MHC students, and some of which are open to faculty, staff and 5 college students as well, at the discretion of the instructor.

Please note: credit courses are not offered at MHC during this time. Trips to NYC, Boston and select area attractions will be announced in December. Intersession 2012 also features entertainment and social events on campus that will be added to the Intersession calendar as they are confirmed. We encourage you to explore your interests and expand your horizons by participating in one or more of the classes and workshops offered, taking a bus trip and/or attending events. Please also visit our Facebook page!

Official registration for the non-credit classes and workshops begins on Nov 28, 2011. Please follow the specific registration instructions listed under each course. The complete non-credit curriculum is available on our site.

Note: Residence halls for MHC students will open for the January 2012 term on Sunday, January 1, 2011 at 9:00 am. All students who desire to be on campus during Intersession must register with the Office of Residential Life by December 21, 2011 via the form that will be available on ISIS.

Student dining/meal plans will continue in select locations. Check the Dining Services site for more information.
