Library Catalog

To see secondary works and some primary source materials that the library may have of interest, search in the Five College Library Catalog. You can search by keywords like "Martin Delany" or "freedpeople"; or, to get a more focused set of results, try using official LC subject headings. (You can identify official subject headings by first conducting a keyword search and then examining the full record of works that appear relevant.)

specifically:

Sharecropping -- Southern States
Freedmen

or, more generally:

African-Americans Farmers -- Southern States -- History
African-Americans -- Education -- History
