Installing Meetingmaker 8.5 (PC)

  • Launch Meeting Maker by clicking on the appropriate icon, but do not sign in
  • You should see two “select” buttons to the right of the login screen.  Click the second select button down
  • In a moment, you should see “mm_prod” appear in the right hand column,  highlight this selection and then click the select button
  • Type in your meetingmaker password (it has not changed). If you do not remember your password and need it to be reset, please call the Help Desk at x2600
  • Click Yes when asked if you would like to install the new version
  • A progress bar will appear and the files will take up to 8 – 10 minutes to transfer
  • Once the installer files have downloaded, a white meetingmaker splash screen will appear and an installer wizard will launch.  Click next
  • You will see a Meeting Maker setup progress bar appear which will progress quickly
  • When asked about local data options, leave the selection on its default/recommended selection and click next
  • You will be asked if you want to set Meeting Maker as your default calendaring software, click Yes
  • On the final setup page that appears, you can uncheck the first two checkboxes and leave the “launch Meeting Maker” option selected.  Click finish

The new Meeting Maker program should launch and you must type your password again (username and password are case sensitive in Meeting Maker 8.5.3).

You should now be signed into the new meeting maker and may feel free to explore the menus and functions.

If you have any problems with this installation process or have questions about the new software, please call the Help Desk at x2600, or email helpdesk@mtholyoke.edu
