Faculty Tech Mentor Application

Below is a brief form to initiate an application for the Technology Mentor Program.  Before completing this form, we ask that you meet with your LITS Liaison share your ideas and related goals. Don't worry if your ideas are still in the brainstorming stages, this discussion is intended to help shape and inform your application. We look forward to hearing from you. The application period for Fall 2008 closed on April 15th.  Applications may still be submitted, however, for future consideration.

Please briefly describe the technologies you currently incorporate in this course and/or are interested in exploring (ex: digital audio, film clip review, discipline-specific software, digital storytelling, collaborative multimedia wiki, visual representation of data, etc): *

Please describe briefly the potential roles you envision for a Technology Mentor in your course (ex: student project consultation, software training sessions, tech help office hours, feedback on assignment implementation, curricular development, etc): *

Is there a student you would like to nominate for consideration? We encourage faculty to nominate someone who has already completed the course.  Don't worry if no one comes to mind, however, we have a pool of trained mentors from which to draw and we'll certainly include you in the interview process.

If you have questions about this program, please contact your LITS Liaison Julie Habjan Boisselle, Program Coordinator
