Request Form for Computing Hardware
Use this form to request new desktop computers, upgrades to desktop computers, and department network printers. You may complete this form, print it and mail it via campus mail, OR you may submit the form electronically by using the submit button at the bottom of the form. If you need to prepare duplicate forms, you may print/submit one, use the RESET button to clear, and prepare the next.
Requests should be received by December 31, 2001 in order to be presented for budgetary consideration for FY 2002-03.
LITS provides one desktop computer per faculty/staff which is upgradable every three or four years. When possible we will try to accommodate platform preference. Computers provided will be Netscape capable, Pentium or PowerMacintosh class computers. All computers will have the current supported versions of Microsoft Office, Netscape, anti-virus software, a telnet client, and a database application if requested. All machines will be ethernet ready.
