CALICO Software Reviews
CALICO, the Computer Assisted Language Instruction Consortium, emphasizes modern language teaching and learning and is a recognized international clearinghouse and leader in computer assisted learning and instruction. Software Reviews is one of the services it has provided to its community.

Half-Baked Software
The Hot Potatoes suiteby the University of Victoria includes six applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web. Hot Potatoes is free of charge for non-profit educational users who make their pages available on the web.

Virtual Call Library
The Virtual CALL Library aims to be a central point of access to the diverse collection of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) software scattered across the Internet and available for downloading.

Creative Technology
The Creative Technology Ltd provides tools and services for teachers working with computers and delivering education online.The teaching software area features programs written by Martin Holmes, an experienced teacher and programmer from Victoria in Canada.

Interactive Web Exercises
WebAuthor is a tool to make online exercises on the fly. It lets you make online forms to be used for Web Assisted Learning and Teaching of Languages.

WebPractest
WebPractest, designed by Gary A. Smith, helps developers of instructional materials create self-correcting exercises or tests for distribution on the Internet.
