Mounting Network Drives - Mac OSX
Macintosh - How to Mount a Network Drive:
- In the Finder, select the Go menu at the top of the screen
- Select Connect to Server, then type a site name into the Server Address line. (see sites below)
- Once tested, add the site to the list of favorite sites by clicking on the "+" button on the upper right corner of the Connect to Server dialog. From this point on all you need to do to connect to a listed site is double-click on the name!

Site Names, to be entered into the Server Address field
machome = MHC Home Directory macdist = Software Distribution www = webspace (where files for webpages are stored) macwg = workgroups maconcampus = OnCampus (courses)
- The next window will ask you for your MHC username and password, provide the information and click Ok

- Depending on what site you are connecting you, there will be a list of available resources to "mount". Any item that is listed by your own username is a personal space, such as personal network space for files or personal webspace for web pages. Select your choice and click Ok

- An icon for that network resource should now be mounted on your desktop
