Mount Holyoke College Community 

MHC Students

  • Four week loan period.
  • Media equipment circulates for three days.
  • Videos and DVDs circulate for five days.

MHC Faculty

  • Books may be borrowed for up to one year.
  • Bound Periodicals may circulate for three days.  
  • Reference books do not circulate.
  • Media equipment circulates for three days.
  • Videos and DVDs circulate for five days.

MHC Staff

  • Three month loan period.
  • Bound Periodicals may circulate for three days.
  • Reference books do not circulate.
  • Media equipment circulates for three days.
  • Videos and DVDs circulate for five days.

MHC Faculty/Staff Partners

  • Three month loan period.
  • Periodicals and reference books do not circulate.
  • Media items do not circulate.

MHC Alumnae (& Faculty/Staff Children)

  • Four week loan period.
  • Periodicals and reference books do not circulate.
  • Media items do not circulate.
Five College Community  

Five College Students

  • Four week loan period.
  • Periodicals, reference books, documents, leisure collection, and other media materials do not circulate.
  • Videos and DVDs can be checked out for three hours and viewed in the MHC Libraray facility only.
  • Note: Five College students enrolled in an MHC course will need a guest account in order to access e-reserves, which are contained in the ella learning management system.

Five College Faculty/Staff

  • Four week loan period.
  • Periodicals, reference books, documents, leisure collection, and other media materials do not circulate.
  • Videos and DVDs circulate for five days.

Other Patrons

South Hadley/Granby/Holyoke Educators

  • Four week loan period for Mount Holyoke books only.
  • Periodicals, reference books, documents, leisure collection, videos/dvds and other media materials do not circulate.

South Hadley Residents (18 years and older)

  • Four week loan period for Mount Holyoke books only.
  • Periodicals, reference books, documents, leisure collection, videos/dvds and other media materials do not circulate.

Summer Program Participants

  • Up to a Four Week Loan Period for Mount Holyoke items only.
  • Periodicals, reference books, leisure collection and documents do not circulate.
  • Media items circulate for three days.

Visiting Faculty/Scholars

  • Four week loan period.
  • Books may be borrowed for the period of their stay.
  • Bound periodicals may be borrowed for three days.
  • Media equipment circulate for three days.
  • Videos and DVDs circulate for five days.
