Wireless
Library, Information, and Technology Services (LITS) offers wireless internet connections to the Mount Holyoke College community and our guests. Wireless access is available throughout the LITS complex, Kendade, Blanchard, numerous Residence Hall Lounges, and various Administrative Buildings. If you own a laptop with wireless, you can enjoy searching the web from a comfortable chair in the library or check email from a quiet study area. If you do not own a laptop you can borrow a laptop at the LITS Circulation Desk.
Wireless Requirements To access the wireless network from a personal laptop, you will need a wireless card that is compatible with 802.11a/b/g service. Wireless cards can be purchased from most computer stores and cost between 40 and 100 dollars. Most modern laptops come equipped with wireless as part of their standard configuration.
Wireless Networks Refer to the map to find wireless-accessible areas on campus. Printed maps are available throughout the LITS complex for your convenience, near the main entryways and withininformation commons. We recommend keeping it within your laptop bag as you travel about campus. Simply ask for one or print one yourself:
