Art installation - it's up!

Over the past week, anyone entering the library via the main entrance had the privilege of witnessing the transformation of the courtyard as Professor Rie Hachiyanagi assembled her new installation, Inspirare. Below are some photos of the now completed - and stunning - work courtesy of the artist. Come visit the courtyard and experience Inspirare in person!

Wireless Network Upgrade

  Campus wireless networks are being consolidated. All regular campus wireless users should connect to LyonNet-Encrypt as their regular wireless starting 10 AM on Tuesday January 17th.Faculty and staff who have previously used the MHC or MHC-Encrypt and students who have previously used LyonNet should select LyonNet-Encrypt. Art installation in progress

 

From Friday, January 13th through Friday, January 20th, most of the library courtyard will be closed for installation of a large-scale sculpture by MHC Professor of Art Rie Hachiyanagi.  The book stacks, Rao's, Circulation, Media Services, stairs and points beyond will still be accessible by means of small passageways to the left and right just after you enter the courtyard via the library's main entrance.
