Agency History/Biographical note:
Sally Lee Pomeroy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Pomeroy of Largo, Florida. From 1945-1949 she attended Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio and from 1949-1951 she attended Wooster College in Wooster, Ohio. In 1952, she graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School in New York City. She married Victor Trabulsi probably before 1960. Victor Trabulsi died in about 1978. Trabulsi graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1986 as a Frances Perkins Scholar. She held several administrative positions at Mount Holyoke from 1974 until her retirement in 1993, including Secretary to the Assistant to the President, Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the College and Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Assistant to the President, and Secretary of the College and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. She was a participant in Girl Scouts for twenty-five years, in the United Fund, Church School Teaching, Church Choir and was an international board member for Sweet Adelines, Inc. Before working at Mount Holyoke, Trabulsi held a long list of other administrative positions: Principal Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools in Clifton Park, New Jersey, 1967-1972; Secretary for the Operations Department of Friendly Ice Cream Corporation in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, 1972-1973; Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools also in Wilbraham, 1973-1974. She also edited soap opera scripts and monitored radio advertisement for CBS Radio, Inc. In 1980 she married Don Gutheil, manager of materials processing at Precision Magnetics and Ceramics in Gonic, New Hampshire. She has three daughters from her marriage to Victor Trabulsi: Carolyn, Virginia, and Margaret.

Scope and Content:
The Sally Lee Pomeroy Trabulsi Papers consist of course records and biographical information. The materials in this collection relate chiefly to her years as a Mount Holyoke College student, 1977-1986. These papers consist of course records, including syllabi, notes, notebooks, reading lists and assignments, examinations, and papers. The majority of these records are for English courses. Other records relate to courses in art history, history, mathematics, politics, sociology, and theatre arts. The biographical information consists of newspaper clippings, a greeting card, and an announcement.
