Historical Sketch:
The Affirmative Action Committee was founded in 1976 to improve College efforts of diversification of the students and faculty.

Description of Records:
The records include minutes, correspondence, and a report by the Committee to the faculty. Information on current minority status at the College, as well as proposed methods to increase diversity are included in the report.
