Historical Sketch:
The Committee for a Survey in World Affairs was established in connection with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Its goal was to conduct a survey of the College's resources and activities involving world affairs. Approximately seventy-five colleges participated in the survey.

Description of Records:
The records contain correspondence, a list of international students, answered questionnaires, and issues 18 and 19 of Universities and World Affairs, a publication of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Information on the University of Illinois World Affairs Program and Activities is included.
