Historical Sketch:
The role of the Committee on Academic Responsibility at Mount Holyoke College is to present responsibility standards to the faculty and students, to evaluate possible incidences of dishonest behavior, and to punish offenders. The Committee also defined the Academic Honor Code for the College.

Description of Records:
The records include correspondence, announcements to students and faculty, and memos to the College community. Information on specific cases of responsibility violations is included, as well as faculty responses to such incidents. Announcements to students outline proper procedure for taking self-scheduled exams outlines responsible behavior.
