Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Constitutions at Mount Holyoke College was established to approve any changes to the existing College Constitution, and to approve the constitutions of all clubs and other organizations at the College.

Description of Records:
The records contain reports, correspondence, brief minutes, a referendum for changes in the Mount Holyoke College Community Constitution and By-Laws, and Amendments to the College Constitution. Reports include listings of all constitutions approved by the Committee and a summary of any revisions made to them. Detailed information on the Constitutions for the News and Mount Holyoke Monthly is also included.
