Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Interdepartmental Courses was established to investigate student need and desire for more interdepartmental courses. After discussion, the Committee made recommendations to the faculty.

Description of Records:
The records contain two copies of a report by the Committee and contain information on the educational role of integrating courses for the humanities and sciences as a means of obtaining a liberal education.
