Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Concerns was appointed by President Kennan in 1990 to examine concerns surrounding the lesbian, gay, and bisexual community at Mount Holyoke College. The Committee is composed of faculty, students, and alumnae. It sponsored conferences and open forums for all member of the College community.

Description of Records:
The records contain newspaper and magazine clippings, conference announcements, a report, and memos. Information on student life and services, faculty and staff concerns, curriculum and academic life, external affairs and admissions is all included.
