Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Pensions and Insurance was established to discuss the College policies. The Committee created many new plans, and submitted them to the faculty for review. Accomplishments include the adoption of a disability insurance policy for all College employees.

Description of Records:
The records include correspondence, reports, announcements, and sample applications from two companies concerning disability insurance. A brief summary of the College's Carnegie Foundation Plan is included, as well as summaries of plans designed by the Committee.
