Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Secondary Education was established to investigate the possibility of offering a secondary education program at Mount Holyoke College. The Committee was composed of faculty members from various departments, and outlined a plan for a program.

Description of Records:
The records contain one report by the Committee which outlines a proposed program in secondary education at Mount Holyoke. It also lists members of the Committee and contains recommendations for the College.
