Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Space was appointed in 1960 to advise the President on allocation of space at the College. The Committee moved many departments to better accommodate the staff.

Description of Records:
The records contain a memo from Magery S. Foster, chairman of the Committee, and a report to the Committee from the Assistant to the President. Included is a list which details the relocation of many departments.
