Historical Sketch:
The Committee on the Inauguration of President Elizabeth T. Kennan was established in 1978 to plan the October ceremony. The Committee was composed of various members of the College community, including faculty, students, and administrators.

Description of Records:
The records contain memoranda, minutes, agendas, descriptions of events, and a check list. Information includes members of the Committee, summaries of discussions concerning guest speakers, invitation lists, and budgeting concerns.
