Historical Sketch:
The Faculty Advisory Committee on the Capital Effort was established
to oversee the Capital Campaign during the early 1970s. The Committee
prepared advisory reports for the President, which included detailed
lists of needs of the College. The emphasis of he campaign was to
increase the endowments, with limited building and repair money.
Description of Records:
The records contain agendas, minutes, financial information, and
memoranda. Information includes College needs as perceived by the
President, annual operating costs, revised sabbatical policy proposals,
faculty salaries, research grants, student scholarships, lists of
building repairs needed, and charts with a breakdown on the types
of funds received.
