Historical Sketch:
The Faculty Grants Committee was formed to establish a faculty research fund. The Committee is composed of the President, Dean of the Faculty, and faculty members. The Committee reviews all proposals, and grants funds to the selected projects.

Description of Records:
The records contain correspondence, reports, memoranda, financial statements, lists of fellowship and grant recipients(1976), and applications from various years. Financial statements from the Ford Foundation, goals of the Committee, and proposals are all included.
