Historical Sketch:
The Task Force on Sexual Harassment was established in 1986 as a faculty and student committee to educate the Mount Holyoke Community and to determine the prevalence of sexual harassment at the College. Harriet Pollatsek chaired the Task Force.

Description of Records:
The records contain memoranda, agendas, questionnaires, correspondence, a summary of responses to a survey, and proposals. Information includes legal concerns surrounding the survey and the proposed policies.
