Historical Sketch:
The Committee on Honor Work was established to evaluate students' academic performance and determine eligibility for honor work. The Committee also discussed and approved honor programs in each department. The Committee was composed of administration and faculty.

Description of Records:
The records contain memoranda, reports, minutes, lists of honor students (1924-1938), statistics, department summaries, questionnaires, correspondence, lists of honor degrees granted by departments, and lists of students with their grade point averages. Questionnaires include detailed academic information on specific candidates for honor work. Additionally, correspondence includes faculty recommendations for eligible students.
