Historical Sketch:
The Curriculum Committee was appointed by the President to review and approve all changes to the Mount Holyoke Curriculum, and to approve all new courses offered. The Committee was composed of faculty members and administrators.

Description of Records:
The records contain recommendations, proposals for new courses, magazine clippings, questionnaires with summaries of responses, memoranda, a copy of the curriculum adopted in 1946, and minutes. Minutes from 1911-1914 are recorded in a notebook kept by the Committee Secretary, others are typed. Information concerning the approval of new courses and the revision of the curriculum is detailed. Physical Education requirements are also discussed.
