Historical Sketch:
In 1971, the Learning Development Center was established to provide tutoring to area youths with learning disabilities and courses for gifted children. The center closed in June, 1982.

Description of Records:
The records of the Learning Development Center consist of clippings and Annual Reports from 1978-1981. The reports outline the tutoring and educational services offered, gifted programs, and budgets.
