OBJECT MANIA: An Exhibition of Objects, Expected and Unexpected
June 4 – September 14, 2007
Archives and Special Collections Lobby, Lower Level, Dwight Hall

From Mary Lyon's eye glasses to a lock of her hair, her butter dish, a medical bag that Virginia Apgar (1929) kept with her at all times to treat emergencies, dishes that students in archaeology classes excavated from the site of Mount Holyoke's original Seminary Building in 1997-1998, and Tiffany jewelry, objects are an interesting addition to the papers, records and publications collected by Archives and Special Collections. These and other objects are currently on display in the Archives and Special Collections Lobby in Dwight Hall.

For more information, please see Mary Elizabeth Strunk's article "MHC Archives Hosts Object Mania Exhibition" for the Mount Holyoke College Communications Office.
