| "Smithville": Byron Smith |
|
Byron Smith, named for its former owner, was the French Language House - Le Foyer - from 1939 to 1965. It was one of three houses that made up "Smithville" (1912-13), moved across Morgan Street to make room for the Student-Alumnae Hall and Skinner Hall, as well as to serve for student housing. Now all three serve as faculty housing. The other two houses that make up "Smithville": Hitchcock House and South Cottage. |
