The on-line historic map of the campus was designed and created by Peter Carini and Meghna Chakrabarti, Class of 2001.
The electronic version was created from the Historical Map produced by the Alumnae Association in 1987 as part of the 150th Anniversary of the College. The graphic design and drawing of the original map, and the electronic version, were done by Glenna M. Collett, Class of 1972. The text was written by Anne Edmonds, College Librarian, 1964 -1994. As much of the original 1987 map and text have been preserved as possible. The text has been edited to provide a focus on the development of the campus, and photographic images of the buildings have been added. Due to the large quantities of images and information in the Archives and Special Collections on each building, it will be some time before all of the images and data on each building becomes available on-line. |
