Shattuck Hall

Built in 1892, the physics and chemistry building was named for Lydia Shattuck, class of 1851 and professor emerita of botany. After it was torn down in 1954, the New Physics Building (number 54), was renamed Shattuck Hall. The original Shattuck Hall was located on the site of the present Carr Laboratory.
