Rockefeller Skating Rink

Built in 1896 with funds provided by John D. Rockefeller, the Rockefeller Skating Rink was a low, rectangular structure (120' x 150') built on the brow of the hill overlooking Lower Lake. Porter, Safford and Brigham halls are visible in the background of the lower image.
