For the 2007-2008 academic year, LITS liaisons have conducted a periodical review with the following academic departments: German, Spanish, Environmental Studies, Geology, and Geography. As in previous reviews we would now like to present their recommendations to all faculty for comment and review. Please note that in many cases the recommendation is only to end our print subscription while retaining electronic access to the journal. If electronic access is currently not offered, we would continue to subscribe to the print version until electronic access become available.
The purpose of this review is both to help control rising subscription costs and, if possible, to free up resources to fund pressing new journal requests.
