Guest Accounts for Five College Students (Amherst, Hampshire, Smith, UMass)

Five College students registered for courses may need access to the Ella course management system (https://ella.mtholyoke.edu).

For this purpose, Mount Holyoke College provides one-semster guest accounts for those Five College students registered for courses at Mount Holyoke.

These accounts also provide MHC email. We recommend that you forward your MHC email to your home institution once you have obtained a guest account.

A guest account is not needed for wireless access in our hotspots in the Library, Blanchard, or Kendade. You may get a temporary wireless registration without any computer account by clicking on the IP-request link at the login screen of Webmail/Webshell.

To apply for an account online, you must have an email address from one of:

amherst.edu
hampshire.edu
smith.edu or email.smith.edu
umass.edu or student.umass.edu

If you do not have an email account from one of those domains, please visit the Information Commons in the Library.

To apply for an account online, click here. If there are no questions about your account application, the accounts are normally created within one day and you receive your MHC login/username and password by email.
