IMAP SETUP @ MHC
The Following two "Settings" boxes can be found from
Netscape's Edit menu - Preferences. The rest is as simple as matching the
settings here. Of course you might want to substitute your user name where
it says "Your Username here". I would also suggest not having the "Remember
my password" option selected for security reasons (found under the More
Options button).
Note below that the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" is set in the
picture to "mail". This is not correct.
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
- Computers on .mtholyoke.edu:
smtp.mtholyoke.edu
- Computers using another ISP need to set this to whatever
their ISP recommends.
